BeastMode54 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that Carolina's John Fox is "very interested" in the possibility of being the Browns' head coach. The Plain Dealer's Tony Grossi also says Panthers owner Jerry Richardson is willing to reach a settlement that would free Fox from the last year on his contract. Fox shares an agent, Bob LaMonte, with Browns president Mike Holmgren. Other LaMonte clients that could be in play for Cleveland include Marty Mornhinweg, Leslie Frazier, Mike Heimerdinger, and Mike Sherman.

Over40club Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 CRAP Nothing more then more meaningless dribble and speculation . That said , if this did happen kiss "Chin" ta ta..
CarolinaBill Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Well they need to link their source, and then you need to link ur source, and link the agency that handles fox, to double check the same agent angle. Link, link, link
Punch Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/..._cleveland.html 3. Richardson, seeing a potential owners' lockout in 2011, would not replace Fox with Bill Cowher, but might promote from within.
zow2 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Yup, Mr. Cowher will get his dream job location in Carolina.
CodeMonkey Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 If this happens you don't think we would take Mangina do you? Even if you do, please lie and say no so I can feel better
bfw1234 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 the article states that Cowher would not be hired in Carolina b/c the Panther owner fears a lockout next year. The Panthers would promote from within according to the article's source. still, Cowher could wait that out. Think this is a critical week - if no Cowher by eow, then I think it's unlikely he comes
Like A Mofo Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 We are getting a retread or coordinator...get over it.
DaGimp Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 We are getting a retread or coordinator...get over it. or retard coordinator, whatever coconut!
Over40club Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 We are getting a retread or coordinator...get over it. Well in theory , "Chin" is a retread as well . What i am finding a bit mysterious though is , how Bill has not even come forward to take his name out of the Bills coaching vacancy hat . With this news , if it comes to be true this will be "Chins" open door to omit his name from the Bills HC vacancy .
SKRAAPY Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Ridiculous! We were destined to get beat out by a B-league pregame show or a friggin expansion team
John from Riverside Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 This is what Cowher has been waiting for......
Tbone Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I wish the threads title was "John Fox interested in Bills HC Job"
BRH Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Other LaMonte clients that could be in play for Cleveland include Marty Mornhinweg One can only hope
Doc Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 the article states that Cowher would not be hired in Carolina b/c the Panther owner fears a lockout next year. The Panthers would promote from within according to the article's source. Makes sense. still, Cowher could wait that out. Think this is a critical week - if no Cowher by eow, then I think it's unlikely he comes I agree. The longer he waits, losing the opportunity to get top assistants, the less valuable he becomes.
truth on hold Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 fox lost at home to dick jauron this year ... he's forever dead to me
billsfreak Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Just the talk of this will prevent Cowher from coming here, he wants to go to Carolina so bad, that just the slightest hope that it may be opened will prevent him from signing anywhere else.
