MartyBall4Buffalo Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Jan 4 RB Fred Jackson became the first player in NFL history to gain at least 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards on kickoff returns in the same season. Jackson also enjoyed the fourth-most productive season in NFL history in terms of all-purpose yards with 2,516 -- 1,062 rushing, 371 receiving, 69 on punt returns and 1,014 on kickoff returns. "That's something I'll be able to tell my grandkids about," said the Division III product who is one of the true feel-good success stories in the NFL. Jackson rushed for 212 yards Sunday, the seventh-best single-game total in team history. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/players/8063/n...BxSLiMxD_T.uLYF Just taking a moment to appreciate one heck of an accomplishment in an otherwise dismal season

zazie Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Glad DJ saved his legs by wisely keeping him behind Anthony Thomas for a couple of years. New incoming coach should have something to work with now.
