billsburgh Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Peton Manning has 3 more tds in the first half
daquixers Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Peyton Manning is BAR NONE the best QB in the league and by the time his career is over he may be in the top 2 EVER
/dev/null Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 manning puts up big numbers and is a fantasy players dream. but will never lead his team anywhere manning = marino
daquixers Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Thats because he doesnt have a DEFENSE - not because his offense is bad. When you AVERAGE 30 points a game, you should be 7-2 or 8-1. Their record is not his fault.

Rayzer32 Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 I'm looking forward to seeing little brother fall on his face this afternoon. Go Falcons.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Thats because he doesnt have a DEFENSE The defense is bad BECAUSE he and his countless offensive weapons take up all the salary cap space.

rolly Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 The defense is bad BECAUSE he and his countless offensive weapons take up all the salary cap space. 127188 true story.
daquixers Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 The defense is bad BECAUSE he and his countless offensive weapons take up all the salary cap space. 127188 Wow. Your one of the other only people I know who doesnt think he is the best QB in the league. Thats a joke. Peyton will be one of the best of all time.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Wow. Your one of the other only people I know who doesnt think he is the best QB in the league. Thats a joke. Maybe I'll reconsider my stance once Manning actually wins something of consequence. Until then, he'll be a great fantasy QB who just can't cut it in a big game.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Yeah. He should be able to prevent his receivers from getting held 15 times in a conference championship game. Maybe if the Pats actually win a SB WITHOUT the refs being involved in a major way, I'll think they deserve some respect as an NFL champion.
MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Oh yeah and, prior to this season, Manning wasn't making all that much more than Brady. Again it helps when you have a top-6 scoring defense and the best coaches in the NFL.

MadBuffaloDisease Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Two in three years and counting! 127303 Yep. We'll see what, if any, hijinks those wacky zebras are up to THIS year. Although I also wouldn't be surprised to learn that the NFL realizes people are sick of the Pats and want to see someone else in there. Should be an interesting playoffs.
Hollywood Donahoe Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 Yep. We'll see what, if any, hijinks those wacky zebras are up to THIS year. Yeah! Like when they singlehandedly tried to give the Dolphons the game in OT last year by fixing the coin toss and then ignoring a Dolphins WR stepping out of bounds TWICE during a catch! Or when they gave Denver the ball on a fumble that Brady recovered! Those wacky zebras! Always thinking of new ways to help the Pats!

Always thinking of new ways to help the Pats! 127316 Wow, 2 whole calls that possibly (not that I'd expect a Pats fan to know what missed calls look like) went against the Pats! How do you stand it?

How do you stand it? 127319 The point is that bad calls happen to everyone. EVERYONE. The good teams overcome them, the bad ones don't. This is the reality. Deal with it.
jarthur31 Posted November 21, 2004 Posted November 21, 2004 wasn't Dungy supposed to fix that defense problem? 127181 Not only that but Polian hasn't exactly been helping him either.
