Yes, its clear that from a constitutional point that the AGs have no case. The point about taxes doesn't apply in this case to reimbursements. If you use emotion, your argument fits, but that's the only way

 

In addition to the previously stated "arbitrary power" ruling by SCOTUS in 1937, which this bill seems to totally violate, in spirit of uniform taxes that are to be applied to each state, the offended states can argue that such state residents don't need to contribute Federal tax dollars in an amount equal to the Medicaid reimbursements due to that state.

Yes, they can argue anything they want. Big deal. This is almost as stupid as the search for Obama's "real" birth cirtificate

At the expense of getting a bleeding head from this brick wall :wallbash: their arguments are based on laws of this country and established precedent by SCOTUS, not on what they want. You should try that standard for your side.
