While the potential for a lockout after next year makes it interesting,

I say BS also.

Cowher: "yeah, I know you have 4 years left on your current teams contract, but how about

ditching that and coming to Buffalo for 1 year?"

total B.S

NO WAY they sign Cowher to a 1 year deal

Especially for 7 Million Million dollars. How many zeros is that?

Bill Cowher has a deal in place with Buffalo for a one year deal for 7MM.

OK guys...seriously, if I were to make this up, id say cowher to buffalo for 5 years 50 MM which sounds wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy more realistic. If you had a source that told u this would u not post it? i mean come on. i dont buy it either and 7MM is too cheap for cowher.

OK, I check this board all the time for updates, rumors, etc. This is my first time ever posting on here bc I have info I simply cannot contain. Bill Cowher has a deal in place with Buffalo for a one year deal for 7MM. I got this from a source in Buffalo that is close to Jim Kelly. Don't know if this is true, but this source has been correct in the past. My question: Is it a one year deal due to a potential of no NFL in 2011?? I find it odd, but thats what I was just told tonight by a person who is close to Jim Kelly. Yes, I'll get bashed for this. Just passing what I heard because this is too juicy not to let everyone know. And if it happens I better get mad props from everyone!! You heard it here first!! Go Bills!

i never bought into cowher coming here, think he sits another year and waits for fox to finally get canned.

but if he did come here 1yr deal may not be so far fetched. if the team appears headed on the right track he'll have tremendous negotiating leverage for a sweetheart new deal, which would likely include a piece of the team. if it doesn't he can always blame the bills, the owner, the teams uncertainty blah blah blah and still rest assured of getting a crack somewhere else. all that for $7MM versus the few hundred thousand he gets from the networks.

it may also work for cheapo ralph because he doesn't have to sign up for more than 1yr and payout cowher if its not working out.

not so crazy really
