LA Bills Fan Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I feel kind of bad, but my first reaction to seeing Welker's injury was that of happiness and fulfillment. The fact that he injured himself doing one of his signature midget jukes on a play in the slot made it more fulfilling. The only possible injury that could make me happier is if Tony Siragusa gets his leg rolled on during a sideline update and has to eat meatballs one-handed on crutches for the rest of his life. Sorry for the venom. Just wanted to see if anyone else's initial reaction to the Welker injury was joy.

R. Rich Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I never root for an athlete to get injured, no matter how much I dislike the athlete, his/her team, or anything else.

thebug Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 No....I hate the Pats* but don't enjoy seeing people get hurt.

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Just out of curiosity, precisely what did Wes Welker do to deserve this injury? "LA Bills Fan" (Bills with an "s") is giving you a bad name.
outsidethebox Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 berriesandcream, early nomination for creepiest poster in 2010. anyone second that?
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 If he got hurt while trying to injure another player than I would root for that but he got hurt making a play. I would love to have a coach and qb that could make welker from dud to stud as the cheaters did. Yes alot of his picks etc do seem somewhat near illegal but hey until the refs call it run it
IDBillzFan Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 "LA Bills Fan" (Bills with an "s") is giving you a bad name. Who knew Louisiana had so many Bills fans...

THE GASH STATION Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Just out of curiosity, precisely what did Wes Welker do to deserve this injury? Well, there was that one time when he bit Oprah on the titay.
Mark Long Beach Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Hate the p*ts, but I got to admire what Welker has managed to accomplish in the NFL. I don't wish the injury upon him. There are a few loathsome individuals out there and I might wish an injury on them... But they are far and away the exceptions.
Big Hurt Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 No. He is a good player. We need more good players in the league so we can enjoy higher level of plays in the NFL. Otherwise, you should just watch UFL. Just because the Bills get torched by good players doesn't mean we should get any enjoyment out of seeing those players get hurt. We should hope for the Bills to get to their level so that they are competitive.
GG Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Who knew Louisiana had so many Bills fans... And worse picks of avatars?
