Mike in Syracuse Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 The man who endured coaching changes with the skill of a cockroach in a nuclear winter has finally been canned. Perennial TBD favorite and hobbit extraordinaire has joined the ranks of the unemployed. When Chuck Lester gets fired, Ralph Wilson is TRULY pissed off. I do feel bad for AVP though, he was thrown into a miserable situation.
DaGimp Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 i am quite honestly shocked! this guy was wilson's pet and spy
Brandon Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Now that is a shocker, certainly more so than the rest of these guys being fired.
DDD Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Feel bad for Alex Van Pelt? He should have been shown the door right aftert after John Guy.
Matt in KC Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Who will run the projection tackle-o-graph techno-thingie now? He's the only one who knew what the buttons on the side did....
Mike in Syracuse Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 I honestly believe that the only reason that Lester stayed around so long was because no one actually knew he was on staff. I'm sure they all thought he was just some sort of intern.

Mike in Syracuse Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 So they fixed that glitch in the payroll system? Yes but reports out of OBD are that Lester is REALLY pissed and threatening to set fire to the stadium. Apparently this has something to do with a missing red stapler?

Apparently this has something to do with a missing red stapler? Fired for failing to put a Cover Sheet on that TPS report! "Ah Chuck ... if you could just pop in on Sunday to help clean out Perry's desk, that'd be grrrrrrrreat." I was thinking more along the lines of Kramer getting fired from the job he never had.

I do feel bad for AVP though, he was thrown into a miserable situation. Why AVP sucked and had no business being an OC
BillsNYC Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What about the "little person" guy on the sidelines?
DaGimp Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What about the "little person" guy on the sidelines? Bill needs him for a chin rest
Mike in Syracuse Posted January 4, 2010 Author Posted January 4, 2010 Why AVP sucked and had no business being an OC No OC could have been successful with the OL and QB we had. That said, Alex is a great guy and despite my disappointment at the Bills suckitude he's still a person, he has a wife and family and now he doesn't have a job.
NobesBLO13 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What about the "little person" guy on the sidelines? They overlooked him (elbow to ribs)
ChasBB Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Just clearing the slate for the new HC does he does not feel obligated to keep any assistants. That said, I'll bet Lester gets re-hired and maybe one or two others.
Guffalo Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What about the "little person" guy on the sidelines? I always would point him out when I saw him on the sidelines, my favorite line was "That's our short yardage play coordinator"

So how do you feel about the other 100,000 unemployed WNY'ers with a spouse and family and made maybe 1/10 of what AVP made?
