Is there going to be a mass exodus of college players?

I've got a feeling there will be a lot of junior eligibles going into the draft due to the uncertainty of the CBA past this draft. Among other things, owners are pushing to reduce rookie salaries... in particular, the 1st rounders.

If a wave of juniors throw their hat in the ring, it should make for an extremely deep draft. So, seeing how the Bills have clearly demonstrated they can't make a good 1st round pick to save their arses, how bout we just trade that 9th pick (which they'll likely fugg up again) for a pair of mid second rounders, cash, a player to be named later, and a toasted cheese sandwich?

Oh... perhaps we could package Whitner, Lynch, McCargo, Maybin, Parish, and Edwards for a extra 5th round pick.

Nah... too many draft picks... Brandon and Overdorf couldn't possibly get them all signed before the end of training camp.

Didn't they have to declare like 2 months ago?

At this point all early declarations are in. Don't know if there are more than usual due to potential for rookie cap/lockout in 2011. One player who had much to gain by declaring for 2010, Washington QB Jake Locker, did not. Very surprising, as some draftniks had him as first QB selected if he declared.
