phillyrich Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 A high stakes negotiation is ongoing, I promise you that................
flyingant Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 "Get that vending machine stock guy that services OBD on the phone, I need confirmation!" What does Boomer's cab driver say?
CodeMonkey Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 What does Boomer's cab driver say? That Boomer is a cheap !@#$.
DanInUticaTampa Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 they are speculating............ stop beating a dead horse. Yes, we no these are unconfirmed reports. If you don't like them, don't read them.
CodeMonkey Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 they are speculating............ as opposed to?
davefan66 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 On ESPN two seconds ago, Mort said that he doesn't know what to think until he hears it out of Cowher's mouth. Actually, that makes me feel better about all this. Makes me think he has heard both sides and this is all probably a public negotiation. The Bills may have put themselves in this position with the whole 10 Million thing. FWIW, just pay the man, 11...12 million, he is the best available (notwithstanding Shotty, if he chooses to coach again), just get it done.
DELLAPELLE JOHN Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 stop beating a dead horse. Yes, we no these are unconfirmed reports. If you don't like them, don't read them. this is a message board, if u dont like what i post then ignore it.... take a chill pill man, how about some mdma?

McBeane Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I don't believe a word until I hear it from Bill himself. Schefter and Mort have said about 3 or 4 different things over the past couple hours, so take it with a grain of salt.
scribo Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I love hearing these guys hedging their bets. It has me thinking they are hearing conflicting reports from sources they both consider reliable. Hope is still alive.
BRH Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I'd just like to point out that Cowher's youngest daughter just started her college basketball playing career at Wofford. Lindsey Cowher Wofford is in North Carolina. Just sayin'. Remember when Cowher retired he said he wanted to watch his girls play college basketball? Well, his two older girls are done (both played at Princeton) but why does his youngest not get the same treatment? Maybe because he got to watch her play all through high school, which is something he couldn't do for the older ones?
May Day 10 Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Cowher is definitely coming to Buffalo to coach the Bills. Things change all the time, but from what I hear, he will be the head coach, unless he does not want the job, or the Bills do not make him an offer.

One another note WTF is a Wofford? Is that even a real school?

DELLAPELLE JOHN Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 i wonder what sal is going to say 2mor.....
BillnutinHouston Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Just heard Shefter on ESPN radio and he said things could still change with Cowher and stressed that. If "things could change", sounds to me that Cowher really wants to coach if the right situation comes along. Now whether situation is defined by money or something else, who knows...
