coldstorage5 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Even Though we finished 6-10, we will still get a top 10 pick.... most likely 10,... Maybe 9. Only 6-10 team, We pick #9
BBills14 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I was looking at it and it looks like maybe 8? Does anyone know exactly yet?
BuffaloRebound Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I was looking at it and it looks like maybe 8? Does anyone know exactly yet? Chicago won so we currently can't pick lower than 9th. Oakland and Seattle are the only other teams we can jump and they have to win and then have a better strength of schedule.
dtgolder Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 So how many spots did we forfeit by winning today?
coldstorage5 Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 So how many spots did we forfeit by winning today? Not many, we are still a top 8 pick,...Awesome.... Plus a last place shedule!!! ThreeBillsDrive Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Love to have that 1st round draft pick, whatever it is .... 8th, 9th, ... But last year, our best draft picks were Levitre, Wood, and Byrd .... ALL selected below the first picked, first round draft pick -- Maybin
bananathumb Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Chicago won so we currently can't pick lower than 9th. Oakland and Seattle are the only other teams we can jump and they have to win and then have a better strength of schedule. Yeah, we're between 7 and 9 right now. Even if Oakland and Seattle win, we're probably still 9th. So the win backed us a couple.
Brandon Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 So how many spots did we forfeit by winning today? Realistically, no more than two. It may have been possible for the Bills to draft higher than 7th, but everything would've had to go right for it to happen. The Bills will almost certainly draft either 8th or 9th now.
turdferguson Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 maybin sucks ass. But we should get a good player with that pick. Hopefully we dont draft some retard who should be lucky to be picked in the 7th round with our first pick like we did last year
DarthICE Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 maybin sucks ass. But we should get a good player with that pick. Hopefully we dont draft some retard who should be lucky to be picked in the 7th round with our first pick like we did last year Maybin was one of the worst picks we have ever made that high. Go Seattle and Oakland
aristocrat Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 it just blows my mind that michael oher could be out starting left tackle and our line would be set for years to come...oher levitre wood incognito chambers but shoulda coulda woulda
John from Riverside Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Maybins rookie year is now over He needs to get bigger and better......fast
dtgolder Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Ok, so we really need to finish the season to find the draft order, and then figure out the needs for those teams ahead of us...no matter what we SHOULD get a shot at a decent QB....
Bob in STL Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 it just blows my mind that michael oher could be out starting left tackle and our line would be set for years to come...oher levitre wood incognito chambers but shoulda coulda woulda If we drafted Oher it would have been with Maybin's pick because he was off the board by the time we had the 28th pick in the first round (with which we took Wood). It is very possible that Wood may have been gone by then too. If we were lucky enough to get both Oher and Wood in the first round then I doubt we would have spent another pick on OL to get Levitre since we have a strong need for DL and LB. You cannot be serious about Chambers as your starting OL? He has originally cut at the end of camp and is quite horrible. Brad Butler or Demetrious Bell are better options. The Oher train has left the station ....
Las Vegas Calling... Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I can live with a top ten pick this year. With Nix as GM I would be shocked if they "reach" this year. Let's rebuild this team into a winner!
Mr_Blizzard Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Maybin was one of the worst picks we have ever made that high. Go Seattle and Oakland And then there was Mike Williams It still kills me to think we could have had Bryant McKinney instead of Mike Williams. (Of course, we probably would have traded him away by now or let another team sign him as a F.A. . . .)
Doc Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 And then there was Mike Williams It still kills me to think we could have had Bryant McKinney instead of Mike Williams. (Of course, we probably would have traded him away by now or let another team sign him as a F.A. . . .) McKinnie? Hell, the Bills could have had Julius Peppers, if they didn't beat Carolina in 2001.
HelloNewman Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Maybins rookie year is now over He needs to get bigger and better......fast Dear Mr General manager- please move Maybin to LB.....he will not perform at DE..thank you love, Mr Bills Fan
