nd03 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Never in a million years do i like to see an injury, just sheds a light on what the colts did last week benching starters. WOW, don't think this game is important for the pats
BuffalOhio Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Yep. I guarantee that he just tore his ACL. Done for the season. He may wear a brace to finish it out, but I doubt it. I've torn both ACL's and I know ACL tears when I see them. The way that leg buckled is all I needed to see. Tough break.

Yeah that was bad...him with the towel over his head to prevent people from seeing him crying from the pain is it...
ThreeBillsDrive Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Pats season is likely toast with WW out
RayFinkle Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Yeah that was bad...him with the towel over his head to prevent people from seeing him crying from the pain is it... I hate Wes Welker as much as the next guy, but those weren't tears of pain.
May Day 10 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 no way he can play next week with a ligament tear. I almost hope NE wins next week so they can get slaughtered vs Indy or San Diego
BuffalOhio Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Yeah that was bad...him with the towel over his head to prevent people from seeing him crying from the pain is it... Torn ACL doesn't hurt that bad. Not nearly as bad as a sprained ankle. It just feels weird because you can't lock your leg straight (there's no stopping point) and it buckles easily. I just think he knew he was done and was disappointed, which is to be expected.

WOW, don't think this game is important for the pats The report on NBC just said that the injury is serious. I hate seeing a guy get a knee wrecked. BTW any update on Eric Wood? I wonder if he will be ready for training camp??

rackemrack Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 never like to see someone get hurt, but i like when bad things happen to the pats
May Day 10 Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 yeah, an ACL tear is very painful for a short while, then doesnt hurt much... you can even put weight on it just minutes after, you just wont have much stability
DarthICE Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Personally I love Wes Welker I just hate he is on the Pats*.
DarthICE Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Just saw the replay on NFL.com, he blew that puppy. It is either the ACL or he might have blown the patellar tendon. Either way he is done.
Mr. ChumChums Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Although you can never feel happy about an injury to a player, what I AM happy about is that Brady boy just lost his favorite target for the playoffs.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 no way he can play next week with a ligament tear. I almost hope NE wins next week so they can get slaughtered vs Indy or San Diego You are MY type of Bills fan
gobillsinytown Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Personally I love Wes Welker I just hate he is on the Pats*. Seems like he's the classiest player on that team. Sucks to see him get hurt.
Simon Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Seems like he's the classiest player on that team. Sucks to see him get hurt. Actually he's a mouthy obnoxious little d-bag and one of the least classiest players in the NFL.
