bbb Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I just turned it on and heard his voice. Very comforting!
thebug Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Snead looks like crap......and he just got pounded!
Brandon Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Snead looks like crap......and he just got pounded! That's good news for Snead. Now that he's been knocked out of the game for a series or two, he might not throw five interceptions.
Brandon Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Yeah, but he's got a quick release. That's all that matters. He throws interceptions so fast that those defenders barely have time to get their hands up to catch the ball.
BuffaloWings Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Is he sober? It actually sounds like it. I always loved the guy and I can live with hearing him once a year. That voice just reminds me of Sunday afternoons.
thebug Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Thurman was just on at the half answering questions about what OSU has to do in second half. He sure has been getting a lot of air time recently.
turftoe Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I just turned it on and heard his voice. Very comforting! He reminds me too much of the Dallas Cowboys.
Gasjuggler Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Great voice but he should stay retired. Both teams suck
BuffaloWings Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Great voice but he should stay retired. Both teams suck Today, they do. I've never seen so many mistakes by two teams in the same game...ever.
buffaloaggie Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Glad to see Fox bringing him back to do this game. Besides a slipup here and there, not too bad for a 79 year old man.
Tcali Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Snead looks like crap......and he just got pounded! Norm?...I think Billy Cannon will make a heckuva pro though
bbb Posted January 2, 2010 Author Posted January 2, 2010 Glad to see Fox bringing him back to do this game. Besides a slipup here and there, not too bad for a 79 year old man. His voice sounded very robust for any age........And, I would think anybody who works one game a year would have a slipup here and there.
Nostradumbass Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 I miss the 14 second delay between actual events on the field and Pat's call .. TV picture - Emmitt Smith runs a touchdown into the endzone 1 second 2 seconds 3 seconds 4 seconds PS - Touchdown 5 seconds 6 seconds 7 seconds PS - Emmit Smith !!
thebug Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 Norm?...I think Billy Cannon will make a heckuva pro though Say it ain't so Billy!
