billsfan960 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Is it possible that Trent Edwards winds up as a solid #2. Every NFL team needs 2 QB's. Injurys are a definate! If we draft a QB OR get a veteran OR ......... whatever Edwards has a lot of time in personel wise as well as we invested in drafting him high. I know he has gone back this year (Yes an understatement!) but is he really done? Something in me does not want to let go (like an old girlfriend) -- should we breajk up or give irt another go?
SDS Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Something in me does not want to let go (like an old girlfriend) --should we breajk up or give irt another go? Clearly you let go of your man card easily enough...
DarthICE Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Nope, ship his ass outta here. He is a further example of the failure that has been the previous regimes.
flomoe Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Edwards has 1 game left in a Bills uniform. It's time to get rid of this cancer. He has shown time after time that he isn't a "team" player. He mopes on the sideline and becomes a recluse if he has a bad series. Thanks for your time here Trent, don't let the door break your ass on your way out.
Las Vegas Calling... Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Let him go. He will probably sign as a back-up somewhere. Good luck to him. Trent's time as a Bill is over. He has lost his confidence. The back-ups for next year will probably be Fritzpatrick, Brouhm, and whatever vet the Bills sign or whoever they draft. There is no room for Trent on the roster.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I think Trent has 1 year left on his contract. I think they will keep him through training camp & let him compete.

You really do hear something new every day. I don't think Trent Edwards has ever done anything in his lifetime to be considered a "cancer".

IMO, if the supposed leader of the team is moping on the sideline because he went 3 and out, he's a cancer to the well being of the team as a whole.
rackemrack Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 a career backup is all he is, good enough to finish a game or win one if he had to once in a while, but not a real leader or franchise QB. he is a step above losman though.
