PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2009 Author Posted December 31, 2009 This just in: Ralph is still around. ...and he's hiring a GM. PTR
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2009 Author Posted December 31, 2009 GM of football ops only...Russ is still marketing guru. Will hire new coach and oversee all football ops. PTR
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2009 Author Posted December 31, 2009 Brandon promoted to CEO. Will oversee team/marketing ops and report to Ralph. PTR
DanInUticaTampa Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 "we're not that far away in this league" yup! he's crazy!
ganesh Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Brandon promoted to CEO. Will oversee team/marketing ops and report to Ralph. PTR Ralph really had a funny moment....On Russ Brandon "I suppose it is a promotion for him too"....Classic Ralph
The Big Cat Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 "we're not that far away in this league" yup! he's crazy! There's one Peyton Manning in the league, and even the Colts have squeaked by with some "luck" this year. Same can be said for the infallible Brees led Saints. There's no bulletproof team, and with very few exceptions, there's no team lightyears from contention. The Bills are not one of those exceptions.
ganesh Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 "we're not that far away in this league" yup! he's crazy! He is definitely right on that....That fact that 5 losing teams took it out on the Defending Superbowl champions is a good indicator. The Bills could have won 2-3 more games, if they had not made those mental mistakes.
ganesh Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 GM of football ops only...Russ is still marketing guru. Will hire new coach and oversee all football ops. PTR I didn't hear it that way. I think Buddy should decide who the HC is, not Russ Brandon. Otherwise, there is going to be a power struggle.

Well, we need a QB. That alone puts us a few years away unless we get lucky with one.
ganesh Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Good to hear that there is no immediate vote of confidence for Modrak or Guy.
The Big Cat Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Well, we need a QB. That alone puts us a few years away unless we get lucky with one. Buddy Nix drafted Eli and Brees. We'll see!
The Big Cat Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Good to hear that there is no immediate vote of confidence for Modrak or Guy. Seconded.
DanInUticaTampa Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 that is awesome that he wants to address the injury bug on this team. Nice that he wants to take action on this crap.
DevilsAlum Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 emphasizes coaches as teachers and says: "we oughta be gettin better"
DanInUticaTampa Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I like what he has been saying. Sounds like a guy that holds people accountable.
The Big Cat Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Could one of these "reporters" please ask what his player personell priorities are?
GG Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 At least somebody is covering this news. The breaking story on ESPN News is "AT&T breaks off sponsorhip of Tiger" for the last 10 hrs. I take it the production crews at the national media outlets are all off for the New Year. No update on the NFL Network either. Oh well, so much for a full reorg. Big question remains, does Overdorf lose any control?
