Hazed and Amuzed Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Only Bills fans would B word about having one of the top talent evaluators in the NFL as our GM. Ding Ding Ding! I love being part of Bills Nation but we're filled with a bunch of whiney bitches...
nucci Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 its not nix, hes to old, maybe nix can be an adviser.... its going to be a new gm that cowher wants......... STOP!!
Coach Tuesday Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 its not nix, hes to old, maybe nix can be an adviser.... its going to be a new gm that cowher wants......... You are seriously the most annoying person on God's Green Earth.
Fingon Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Nix is not from outside the organization. He works for the Bills. He was one of the people that pulled up stakes when John Butler loaded up the moving truck and drove off for San Diego. Nix has been passed over for a couple of GM jobs in the past, most recently the Falcons gig. He was AJ Smith's right-hand man but started talking about retirement after the Falcons went in another direction. The Bills hired him as a sort of scout emeritus, wanting to get his input for the draft. Now, apparently he's been given some Viagra and is full of vim and vigor and ready to re-build a shattered organization from the mud up. OK, then. Nix is in no way responsible for these Bills teams. It seems like people on this board just like to B word and moan.
NobesBLO13 Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 What's with the Modrak talk though, I can't imagine what he's done that would show that he deserves that kind of promotion let alone not be fired

Lv-Bills Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 As with every other thing the Bills ruin, what are the chances that Russ Brandon, fresh from whatever bunker he hides in, comes out and says........"We're all here for this big announcement"...................and then the feed cuts out like usual, so that nobody but the people in attendance can hear what he's saying?
scribo Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 You obviously know there is no way to actually prove it to you. Don't be offended by the skepticism. First, we have had a LOT of posters claim to have inside info all to come up empty. Second, it says you registered here less than a week ago. Lastly and most significantly, I have heard from several people who are paid to get the info you claim to have that they have nothing so far.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 STOP!! But Cowher was at Cappelli's about an hour ago.
BeastMode54 Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 wait a minute. before we get all over Modrak and Nix.....what cars do they drive?
DarthICE Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Typical lemmings, get excited for a lifelong scout that has been no more than a #2 to other GM's to get his first shot at running the show here. No wonder this team sucks, fans are willing to go ga ga over anything
bradjames24 Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 If Nix gets hired, maybe he'll answer the phones at One Bills Drive like his:
H2o Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 You are seriously the most annoying person on God's Green Earth. Calm down bro, sounds like you want to go "Blount" on the guy or something.
Coach Tuesday Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Nix is in no way responsible for these Bills teams. It seems like people on this board just like to B word and moan. Excuse me. The bitching is justified. How are you convinced that the Bills even did a thorough hiring search? They hired internally. What other GM candidates were even interviewed, seeing as how the season isn't over? And Brandon presumably gets promoted to President and COO. What has he done to justify that? He was almost singularly responsible for allowing the organization to go into the season with almost no chance of succeeding. And he gets promoted. Businesses are just not run this way.
Nevergiveup Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Don't be offended by the skepticism. First, we have had a LOT of posters claim to have inside info all to come up empty. Second, it says you registered here less than a week ago. Lastly and most significantly, I have heard from several people who are paid to get the info you claim to have that they have nothing so far. Not offended. I am not sure how I can prove it you without compromising anyone.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 What's with the Modrak talk though, I can't imagine what he's done that would show that he deserves that kind of promotion let alone not be fired Apparently he has a strong relationship with Cowher. Modrak as GM could signal Cowher as HC. But Nix also worked with the chin before too, so who knows. As for Modrak, there are whispers that his draft picks were overruled by Dick(less) Jauron and Ralph. He targeted some of the players who we all said should have been drafted. PTR
BillsVet Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Typical lemmings, get excited for a lifelong scout that has been no more than a #2 to other GM's to get his first shot at running the show here. No wonder this team sucks, fans are willing to go ga ga over anything Expectations are low and people have been mentally trained to accept less. 10 years of bad football have taken too many to this point. And it's because they follow no other NFL football but the Bills, which means it's been a decade since a real front office was in place. And because they fear not supporting the team will force them to move. They don't understand the team moves or doesn't regardless of them.
