Just Jack Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 What the heck do they do with the tickets in cases like this anyway? Give them to employees or advertisers? Or "buy" them in name only by paying the cash but not ever getting the actual tickets? Usually that. And the team can then give them to charity. So TW gets the tax write off because in the long run, the tickets went to a charity.
