Metal Man Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Meeting a friend out in Utica this Sunday and looking for a bar with (1) Sunday Ticket (2) Decent food. Any suggestions??? It is a little bit down the road from Utica, but Recovery right across the street from the Turning Stone Casino is a great place to watch any game. It is pretty big inside with lots of TVs all over the place and the food is good. As for right in the Utica area the only place I have ever tried is Zebb's in New Hartford. That was decent but nowhere near as good as Recovery.

geggytah Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Thanks - I'll also mention Rome is an option, so if anyone has a bar there I'm open to suggestions. In Rome I enjoy The Mill on E Dominick for a more social crowd and more open space, but more often than not for some pretty good food (football specials too) and a small crowd if you really want to just sit back and relax and watch a few games I go over to Aquino's on Floyd Ave. Both places have the ticket with multiple HD tvs. Aquinos you usually get to pick which games you want on each TV as well due to the small crowd.
Peter Griffin Posted December 30, 2009 Author Posted December 30, 2009 After doing some research online, for the Utica area, it seems to be down to Griffs or Oddenells (both near the Brewery) Mr Mcgills (in Schuler) Zebbs in New Hartford Any thoughts or additions? I'm gonna try and push for "Recovery" near Turning Stone but my friend is coming from Albany so I might get steered back to Utica.
Just Jack Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I'm gonna try and push for "Recovery" near Turning Stone but my friend is coming from Albany so I might get steered back to Utica. Tell him too bad. Recovery for the games, then Turning Stone for some gambling afterwards.
