Buddy Nix has nothing to do with the polluted OBD food chain but that will be the complaint. The question is can Nix at 70 do the job and would he even want it?
BillnutinHouston Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Based on Ralph's known bias in favor of the "known commodity", I would say Buddy has the inside track on the GM job if he wants it. It's also interesting that we have heard about the Bills contacting coaching candidates but not GM candidates - I hope that means they've already targeted Nix as the new GM. I think he has the contacts, experience with winning programs, and familiarity to Ralph to be considered the favorite at this point.

BillsVet Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Because 70 year old men can handle 14-16 hour days, particularly from January through April. Nix sounds like a solid guy, but this is a job for someone who can put up with a lot of garbage. Namely, RW, Littman, and Mr. Smithers-Brandon.
