JoeF Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/bowls09/news/story?id=4776848 He may be available.....woooo hoooo.... I like Leach a lot-he is the Aristotle of College Football Coaches. I hope the complaint turns out to be unfounded.
DrDawkinstein Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 so this is where college sports are going now, huh? parents and spoiled babies ruining everything, just like they did the school systems....
Chilly Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 so this is where college sports are going now, huh? parents and spoiled babies ruining everything, just like they did the school systems.... Pretty large accusation when we don't know anything about what happened.
DarthICE Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 so this is where college sports are going now, huh? parents and spoiled babies ruining everything, just like they did the school systems.... Yeah we really need to treat those guys like **** after suffering a concussion.
Tortured Soul Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Just got even more interesting: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2...ach-suspension/
DarthICE Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Just got even more interesting: http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2...ach-suspension/ oh bad friggin move. with who his dad is you would think he would have been smarter than this. Don't be suprised if he is fired.
Beerball Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Obviously Leach was behind in his payments to the James household. You don't treat an SMU grad like that. Pony Express...yee haw!
Lintyfresh85 Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 If that's true... well... Leach is done. Well he probably did help with the concussion! All that darkness is probably good on the head.

JoeF Posted December 29, 2009 Author Posted December 29, 2009 Leach would be a perfect fit. The Bills offense has been in the dark all season...he could banish them there permanently.
Lintyfresh85 Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Graham Harrell can't be too far away across the border!
buffaloaggie Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Graham Harrell can't be too far away across the border! From various posts this year: A) Ryan Fitzpatrick is the answer B) Gibran Hamdan is the answer C) Brian Brohm is the answer D) Mike Leach and Graham Harrell are the answer E) None of the above I go with E The spread offense is a timing offense, typically shut down by a quick defense (See the 2006 Cotton Bowl). The Wildcat is not the spread. The spread will not work against the quicker, faster, bigger players in the NFL. Why do you folks think that Leach's gimmick offense would work in the NFL? How many Texas Tech QB's are in the NFL?
vincec Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I'm sure that these tactics would work well with grown professionals in the NFL. Can you imagine him trying to deal with players like TO? It would be entertaining to watch.
BuffaloBill Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Leach would be a perfect fit. The Bills offense has been in the dark all season...he could banish them there permanently. ... oh wait ... it's sad that this comment is so funny.

I haven't seen any posts from the Sen, so I figure he had to fly out to Lubbock to console his idol. Give him a hug for us, Senator.
DarthICE Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Here's the local paper, which has more info: http://www.redraiders.com/2009/12/28/leach-suspended/ If that is right, Leach is fired and the kid and his parents will be suing the school
Beerball Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 If that is right, Leach is fired and the kid and his parents will be suing the school Since it's TTs article they definitely can put their slant on things, but based on that I don't see how he survives.
