FluffHead Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 What NFL Head Coach LOST FOUR AFC Championship games AT HOME? Hint: He lost his first playoff appearance to the Buffalo Bills. And the answer is: Bill Cowher Why? Because when time ran out, the other team had more points on the scoreboard than Cowher's team did
ElMarko Posted December 29, 2009 Author Posted December 29, 2009 Before the SuperBowl win - there were entire websites devoted to Cowher's "System of Failure" in Pittsburgh. I think it's so funny how things change over time. Granted, they finally did win a SuperBowl - and that is a HUGE thing - but Cowher was being regulated to "loser in the big game" status as a headcoach before 2005. Wonder how people would react to a Bills' head coach losing four AFC Championship games AT HOME. After the fourth loss, the walk out of the Ralph sure would be interesting...
