Lintyfresh85 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I was just joking about working towards a FG.
ThreeBillsDrive Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 YAAAAYYYYY!!!!  Yooooooohoooo  We avoided a shutout!!  Way to go Bills!
DrFishfinder Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 4th & 4, down by 24 and Fewell goes for a FG? Talk about conceding the game.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 why FG.... So you don't cry about getting shut out. That's why. Â PTR
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 27, 2009 Author Posted December 27, 2009 One thing about Brohm is that he gets away from center and back in his drops really quick - I'm sure the constant fear of getting killed behind the OL helps too  Your humor aside, this is a good observation.  Brohm's drops are very quick and smooth. He obviously has nice physical talent.
balln Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 You know it's bad when the opposing team has gone into Prevent D with 4 minutes to go in the third. Brohm looks like a champ...almost. Â What are ya'll talking about. Prevent D is two high safeties deep. I see a lot of BASE D with a true SS. Brohm looks pretty good for not playing in an NFL game before, not being with this team in training camp, and having this terrible O-Line. A lot of positives.
DarthICE Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Doesnt that just show the mentality of this team? Kick the FG....
PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 4th & 4, down by 24 and Fewell goes for a FG? Talk about conceding the game. Getting shut out is soooooo much better  PTR
billnutinphoenix Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 So you don't cry about getting shut out. That's why. PTR   I was crying after game 1 and Perry's great prevent against Tom and Company...
BillsVet Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 He's playing better than I expected, with almost no time with the starters and a bunch of ushers for an OL. He's looking more comfortable out there. Decent arm. Â Teams had almost zero film on the guy entering this season. I wouldn't draw any conclusions good or bad after 3 quarters of play.
TheChimp Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 What are ya'll talking about. Prevent D is two high safeties deep. I see a lot of BASE D with a true SS. Brohm looks pretty good for not playing in an NFL game before, not being with this team in training camp, and having this terrible O-Line. A lot of positives. Yeah, the Falcon's pass rush is no match for him. Oh wait, what pass rush?
PromoTheRobot Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Doesnt that just show the mentality of this team? Kick the FG.... It shows more the reality of this team. Getting 4 yards is no gimme for the Bills. Â PTR
jack_spikes Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 So you don't cry about getting shut out. That's why. PTR Why are you such a Fewell apologist?
DrFishfinder Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Getting shut out is soooooo much better  PTR I'd rather see 'em go down swinging for the fences.
TheChimp Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Why are you such a Fewell apologist? Is he?
Simon Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 I was crying after game 1 and Perry's great prevent against Tom and Company... They didn't run any prevent in that game. It was Fewell's over-aggressiveness which got them in trouble.
DrFishfinder Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Teams had almost zero film on the guy entering this season. I wouldn't draw any conclusions good or bad after 3 quarters of play. It's one of the few bright spots in this.......game.
