stuckincincy Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 NWS 'expert' calls storm historic... Back in my 4WD days (solid front axle, get out and lock your front hubs vehicles), a good snow storm was a time of joy. Start up the gas hog, and revel in plowing through where others fear to tread. No destination in mind, of course - just Man (armed with machine) against Nature. Not anymore - they declare these "snow emergencies", and give you a ticket if they can, for the simple pleasure of "farting around".
Phlegm Alley Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 My girlfriend just flew into Minneapolis/Saint Paul airport from Philly this morning without too much of a problem. It was a major concern considering the developments of the weather up in those parts.
Bullpen Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 We have a nice windchill of -5 today. Luckily the snow has moved out of Colorado.
