Looks like it's Wade Philips by default, though in the dacade, he only coached year 2000. My second choice would be Fewell only because the few games he's coached have had a far less percentage of "what the..'s" and bewildering game and time management decisions. The thought of the other 3 regimes is downright nauseating.

DFITZ1
I would take Mike Mularkey as our coach. Of the 3 non-interim coaches after Philips, I would agree that Mularkey was the "least bad". Perhaps with a better o-line, and not losing Pat Williams, he might have broken teh playoff drought. He still had some game management problems, and didn't get along with his OC. I still remember that awful playcall against the Fish where JP got intercepted in the end zone and started a 4th quarter Fish comback from 18 points down to win. I'd go with Wade Phillips, though I'm not really a fan of his as a head coach. He's a great DC, but a middling HC. Williams and Mularkey might be good HCs someday but they were learning on the job here, the staffs were fluid, and the roster was getting turned over quicker than a flapjack in a hot skillet. The instability at OC, offensive staff, QB, and along the OL is nothing short of incredible and the results are just as one should truly expect. Jauron and his continuity above all else strategy was the perfectly wrong hire for a team trying to go in a new direction. "Continuity" and "going in a new direction" are polar opposites, but the front office never saw that contradiction apparently.

I would only sub Clements for McGee if you consider only CB play. If you look at overall role on the team then McGee's KR ability makes him more valuable than Clements.
