PromoTheRobot
30 minutes into seeing TPM the first time I knew it was a piece of schittt. And if you are really honest, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi weren't all that hot either. George Lucas = one lucky mofo. PTR
Dan
Was Empire the first movie to leave a major plot line unresolved, i.e. the Han Solo deal, because they knew they were making a 3rd movie and needed/wanted the cliff hanger? How dumb is that... making some kid wait a year to see what happens to the story.

And I disagree with the poster who said Empire and Jedi weren't good. Empire strikes back is a great movie and Jedi is a very good movie as well. webtoe
I will NOT see it for the first time sober. I think it has watch-me-after-eating-brownies written all over it. I would have to agree, unfortunately I will be bringing my 9 yr old son

Recall at the end Han destroys Vader's TIE escorts but Vader's TIE Advanced spins out of the trench and flys away after the destruction of the Death Star

Recall at the end Han destroys Vader's TIE escorts but Vader's TIE Advanced spins out of the trench and flys away after the destruction of the Death Star I think that while it wasn't completely resolved it wasn't exactly a complete cliff hanger either. If you put you mind to it obviously Vader survived because had they wanted to kill him off then they would have just had Han Solo kill him off by blowing up the Tie Fighter. So while it wasn't really a resolved point it wasn't something you were left wondering what was going to happen.
