CosmicBills Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 He's inactive. No he's not. He's the emergency QB. He's in pads on the sideline.
davefan66 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Not that I really had hope for this game, but my God after watching TE I feel hopeless. But, that may be the last we see of him with a bad ankle.
outsidethebox Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 This team is full of players lucky to be in the nfl.
billnutinphoenix Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Bye bye Josh Reed off Punt Returns....horrible
The Big Cat Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 No he's not. He's the emergency QB. He's in pads on the sideline. Well hush my mouth and put his green ass in there!
outsidethebox Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Why is Reed back there? Because parrish sucks
ofiba Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 That should have been a penalty. You can only hit the returner after the muffed punt hits the ground. Otherwise it is fair catch interference. He did signal fair catch, right?
DrFishfinder Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Bye bye Josh Reed off Punt Returns....horrible Was that their best punt return.....the forward fumble?
davefan66 Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Wonder if we could even get a 7th round pick for Roscoe...
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I don't understand the rule...this is all I could find: "The league allows each team to have 45 active players each week. If no more than two of those players are quarterbacks, the team may designate a 46th player as its emergency third quarterback. If that player enters the game prior to the fourth quarter, then the first two quarterbacks on the roster are prohibited from returning to the game at any position at any time." Thing is you'd just be throwing Brohm to the wolves.
Astrojanitor Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Way to go Trent--4 plays 2 sacks and injured. Way to go.
l< j Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 At some I stopped gritting my teeth and just laughed.
CosmicBills Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 The only explanation is that Brohm isn't mentally up to par with the offensive scheme to do much more than hand the ball off.

Thing is you'd just be throwing Brohm to the wolves. You can have 45 players active on your game day roster. If only two of those 45 are QBs, you can dress a third QB, but only play him with the provision that neither of your other two can come back into the game.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 I guess more than anything else, this season went down the tubes when we started the season with a thin O-line and then the injuries hit the O-line.
billnutinphoenix Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 OL is overmatched....just think...this is the Pats 2nd team DL....
