Orton's Arm Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...chie-incognito/ I disagree with the wording of this thread. The player in question has not been "cut." He has merely gone incognito.
Steely Dan Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 IMO ability is not in question. Injury history maybe...head case, absolutely. Anthony Hargrove appears to have straightened himself out. Maybe there is hope for this guy. We could see the makings of a very good young line. Pick him up off waivers and see if he can change until the end of the year. If not cut him. No harm no foul.
Fewell733 Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 sign him and put him on meds, make it part of his contract
Marc in MontrÈal Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...chie-incognito/ Anybody seen Richie ??
starrymessenger Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 sign him and put him on meds, make it part of his contract Given the condition of our line not going for Incognito would be FO gross negligence. But for anger managenment issues he would unquestionably have been a first rounder. He is one of the toughest meanest guards in the game. We don't even know if/when Woods will be able to return. If he does he should play at his natural position , center, with Incognito and Levitre on either side. If we don't pick him up watch the Steelers jump on this opportunity.
starrymessenger Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Anybody seen Richie ?? I don't think Conrad Dobler won many popularity contests either. He just kicked ass.

Levitre, Wood, and Incognito firing off the ball!! Pushing defenders back! BEAST MODE mowin them busters down, yo!
CountDorkula Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Our line is already one of the most penalized.. Ah what the hell go for it. Whats the worst that could happen?
BillsfaninFl Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...chie-incognito/ With a name like his, you would think he doesn't want to draw attention to himself. Whew! That was so lame, I feel like apologizing for posting it. Naw.
Kingfish Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 "Homer? Who is Homer? My name is Guy Incognito."
SoulMan Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 We have to ask ourselves, can we handle having an o line that is in the top few in the league ? If so, sign Rich "Conrad Dobler" Incognito now - sign the best affordable fa - and draft another in the 1st or 2nd round. We'll start to have something then - start to.

Agreed... although the man has a history of a less than desirable character...this will not fly at TBD. If we want to improve we grab this dude on the cheap, and move forward. He is going to take a paycut, and we are giving him a second chance. Win/win. If we don't, somebody else will. I know the holy-rollers will look down from their perches and take issue with this, but we need to get better... Do you think this guy's name has anything to do with his rage??????
cåblelady Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 That boy's been a psycho since at least Nebraska.I say we sign him and have him room with Trent on the road and see what develops.
