generaLee83 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 http://www.buffalonews.com/452/story/891589.html Just re-ignites dissapointment. Anyone else here baffled by how the Bills let Greer go and then extended McGee? Greer is 2 years younger, out played McGee last year and only cost the Saints a total $23 million. McGee is older, often injured and is going to cost the Bills a total $27 million. How does it make sense that the younger, cheaper and better player leaves while the aging dinosaur stays?
nucci Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 You mean this Greer? http://www.nola.com/saints/index.ssf/2009/...ury_repo_2.html

Because McGee is a better corner than Greer.

Terrance McGee is a gamer. Whereas Greer was primarily the #2 corner (and played well), McGee covered the opposing team's #1 receiver and held his own. It's a classic case of Bills fans souring on a perfectly good veteran player (London Fletcher anyone?). Let's not run one of the few good players this team has out of town.
