The judge had to dismiss a jury's ruling on this and issue a direct ruling. Glad a jury of my peers knows the law

The law needs to change .... 16 year olds with the maturity to truly make an adult decision in these situations are few and far between. It is far more likely that the adult in the situation can and will manipulate the circumstances.
