Dennis in NC Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 During the game, they said of the 20 guys the Browns had drafted in rounds 1 - 3 from 1999-2004, ZERO are currently with the Browns. And 11 guys are out of football. THAT is some piss-poor drafting.
Buffalo_Stampede Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 The Bills arent close to the worst drafting team in the NFL. They are probably around the middle of the pack or better.

Endless Ike Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 The Bills arent close to the worst drafting team in the NFL. They are probably around the middle of the pack or better. that must be why we're one of two teams to not make the playoffs this decade... we're terrible drafters, full stop.

You're both right. The Bills I believe have a decent eye for talent. Somewhere towards the middle of the pack I'd say. The problem is execution. Bad trade ups/downs, picking want over need and misjudging where to take players in regards to their value.
silvermike Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 And further note: the only late-round pick still active from that time span is Kirk Chambers.
BuffFromBuffalo Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 And further note: the only late-round pick still active from that time span is Kirk Chambers. And before you get too exited about Mike Shanahan taking over, check out his draft record. Terrible.
