reddogblitz
I'm not saying Orton is a Denver's solution of a franchise QB by any means. Just that Orton has played well enough to make Denver a winning team for a trade that should have helped out Chi more in the short term. I'd say a QB that plays "well enough to make Denver a winning team" IS a franchise QB. I don't know why so many people think Kyle Orton is a bad QB. He has 44 TDs and 34 Ints in 5 years. When he plays way more often than not his team wins. In the off season if I were the Bills GM, I'd go after him hot and heavy. He's a FA. Common sense says Denver will want to keep him, but this is the same team that traded away Jay Cuttler, so who knows. If we can't get him, I'd go after Tavaris Jackson as the stop gap guy until we find someone better. Let him and Trent and Brohm and Fitz battle it out in OTAs and training camp. Concentrate on OL and DL with other FA pickups and draft picks.
