ShelfromNJ Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 I was hoping he would come to Bills as GM http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-s...p&type=lgns
Max997 Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 why? what has he ever done as GM or building a team? he had total control with the Seahawks taken away from him for a reason
ShelfromNJ Posted December 5, 2009 Author Posted December 5, 2009 Holmgren took the Seahawks to their first postseason since 1988 during his first season with the club in 1999, breaking a 10-year playoff drought. Holmgren has posted a 72-56 (56.3%) regular-season record and a 3-4 (42.9%) postseason record, including an AFC West Division title (1999), one NFC Wildcard berth (2003), four consecutive NFC West Division titles (2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007), an NFC championship (2005), and the Seahawks' first-ever berth in a Super Bowl. His record with the Seahawks is good enough reason to hire him as GM.

ShelfromNJ Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 He was GM starting when he hired for the 1999 season until the 2003 season. The Seahawks won the division his first year. Plus, look at the record for the players he got while he was GM. That is one of the reasons for the Seahawk's record after they split off his GM duties. He knows how to get and train good quarterbacks and that is what we need most.
