Arkady Renko Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Over the past few years and despite the Bills general suckiness, the Bills have been able to come back in the 4th Quarter. Edwards and Losman often at least could drive the team down the field. Losman had that game in Houston and against Jacksonville. Edwards had that game against the Redskins and Raiders amongst others. I am struck by how this team is completely incapable of coming back on those final drives even when there's a lot of time on the clock. It's always sack, sack, sack, interception. It's not like we had world beaters at QB before. Obviously defenses can just tee up the pass rush on this inept offensive line, but how much of it is the play calling?
Lofton80 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Ellis came right up middle. Not sure what play call can make up for that blocking.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Ellis came right up middle. Not sure what play call can make up for that blocking. Some people watch a game and see nothing. They pay no attention to the blocking or the defenses. All they know is win/lose. PTR
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Ellis came right up middle. Not sure what play call can make up for that blocking. Was that the Hangartner play you're talking about? Yeah that was horrible. But the play call was bad, too. Play action in that situation? Like we're not going to throw the ball? It was like many things Bills, a simultaneous breakdown of the coaching staff and the player.
DDD Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 They can't come back late because the QB and O-line are incapable of it. The offense is a steaming pile of crap.

Ellis was on his ass before he took two steps!! Hangartner got thrown like a rag doll and Simmons should have helped him but turned the wrong way. PTR
