John Adams Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I can't tell if you're serious or just pulling chains, but either way you should probably give it a rest. You're getting your ass kicked on this subject and John Adams hasn't even shown up yet. I was at the gym.
Alaska_Darin_Is_Gay Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 As if it matters whether it's genetic or a choice. Why restrict the rights of two adults to marry? What gives the government the right to restrict people's rights to so marry? Yea, that's right: nothing. Except that it bothers you. Because by definition marriage is between a man and a woman. Period.
Alaska Darin Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Because by definition marriage is between a man and a woman. Period. Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Donnie is a bigot! Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Marriage only used to be between a white man and a white woman. Somehow that changed. Get over yourself and your bigoted ideals.

GG Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Because by definition marriage is between a man and a woman. Period. By whose definition? There's no such thing as a formal definition of marriage between a man and a woman. There are societal moires that dictated marriage to be between a man and a woman, as well as religious dictum that classified it as such, but from a legal standpoint it's still wide open.
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 If marriage is a "right" (either hetero or homo), then I should sue Kaley Cuoco, Megan Fox, and Grace Park for infringing on my right to marry them

By everyone since the dawn of time. It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
GG Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 By everyone since the dawn of time. It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. What are the Chinese names for Adam & Eve?
Alaska Darin Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 By everyone since the dawn of time. It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. I knew you weren't going to be able to leave the zealot slogan out. Thanks for not disappointing.
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 By everyone since the dawn of time. It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. What if Adam Lambert married Stevie Nicks?
Andrew in CA Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Are there any legitimate arguments against homosexual marriage out there? I'm really curious.
DC Tom Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Actually it does. Granting homosexuals special rights doesnt abridge the privileges of heterosexuals? No. How in the ever-lovin' hell do you even get that idea?
stinky finger Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 What are the Chinese names for Adam & Eve? I believe that to be C6 and crab rangoon. A marriage made in heaven.
/dev/null Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 What are the Chinese names for Adam & Eve? Happy Family
Bishop Hedd Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 2, 3, maybe 5 years on this will no longer be an issue. Just a progression, or as some would have it a regression. Doesn't affect me so I don't care either way but some of my gay and lesbian friends are concerned. I tell them what I always do....be patient. Don't rock the boat...

I tell them they're barking up the wrong tree. They need to take this to Washington. It's on the Fed side where they're getting screwed. So they get recognized as a married couple in the state but doesn't help them on the fed side.
