scribo Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=fanb...nball&type=lgns Read below -- I thought we were playing the Rams this week -- not the stinkin' Fish. Rams: Faulk sent home by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Thursday, November 18, 2004 News Rams' head coach Mike Martz sent Marshall Faulk home yesterday when the running back showed up at practice with the flu. "He's got the flu bug," Martz told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. "He was going to come and practice, and (I told him), ‘Go home, go to bed.' He's been down for a couple of days. He can in and got some medicine, got the game plan, and went back home." Faulk is listed as probable on the injury report for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Views Faulk is said to be on the road to recovery, as he was actually feeling worse on Tuesday. He should be healthy before Sunday, but it's possible that rookie Steven Jackson will take more carries than usual, if Faulk is physically drained by the virus.
gmac17 Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 reminds me of the time a certain all time sack leader of ours didn't want to get a flu shot and ended up missing a playoff game (which one was it?). not as bad as leonard smith missing a game with the clap, but hey....
