erynthered Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Gtreat article, thanks for the link...........
KRC Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 And this is exactly what we need - someone better than Ralph & Russ to do the search for the right guy. You might be able to get him to do that, but I doubt it. He is living pretty good right now and is enjoying his relaxation. It would probably cost a boatload of cash to get him to temporarily unretire to help search for a GM (which could also cost a boatload of cash).
Red Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 And this is exactly what we need - someone better than Ralph & Russ to do the search for the right guy. Yeah, let Wolf come in, assist with cleaning house and searching for, hiring, and acquiring top talent for the front office. I don't trust Brandon to find his own replacement. Wouldn't there be some attempt to save face?
Heitz Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Great article - I love Bakay! I lol'ed @ "Oakland is officially a forbidden zone reserved for intergalactic criminals and coaches with no other options"

They are hiring a football guy! PTR
DarthICE Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true YES! This is THE GUY I want running the Bills
cale Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 According to Adam Schefter, Wolf wants back in: http://twitter.com/adam_schefter "In the right situation, with the right organization, former Packers GM Ron Wolf would be interested in returning to the NFL." I'd hire him as team president with final say, then hire a Gettleman or Da Costa to run the day to day football operations. Charles
Red Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 No offense rubeo, but this article was already posted...when it originally came out.
BuffaloBill Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Great column but what a horrific decade of suck with #1 draft picks - is there nowhere to go but up?
fansince61 Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 No offense rubeo, but this article was already posted...when it originally came out. Thread first posted 12/2.

Tortured Soul Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 I'd hire him as team president with final say, then hire a Gettleman or Da Costa to run the day to day football operations. Charles Who is Gettleman?
spartacus Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 For the 1,200th time...Brandon is not a football guy...he's a marketing guy...he is not being replaced. They are hiring a football guy! PTR so the marketing guy is going to hire the football guy that makes even more sense only in bizarro Bills world
cale Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Who is Gettleman? David Gettleman, Director of Pro Personnel, New York Giants. Has a history with the Buffalo Bills. Worked for Bill Polian.
