/dev/null Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I know four, they're all coworkers. All the black men I work with have jobs too. And my black neighbors all have jobs
Taro T Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 I know four, they're all coworkers. So are you going to get 1 (or 2) of them 1st Aid Kits? "I heard you got cut." (whisper, whisper) "Oh, CUT, cut."
Frit0 Bandit0 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 ...and of course the story ends Some studies examining how employers review black and white job applicants suggest that discrimination may be at play. "Black men were less likely to receive a call back or job offer than equally qualified white men," said Devah Pager, a sociology professor at Princeton University, referring to her studies a few years ago of white and black male job applicants in their 20s in Milwaukee and New York. "Black men with a clean record fare no better than white men just released from prison."

I was reading about his SNL hosting gig and apparently he did some ad-libbing, including sending that kid to the porta-john during the United Way Commercial.

Will have to catch it when it's in reruns or maybe on Youtube.

John Adams Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 I know four, they're all coworkers. Then you must really know 6.

Resigned first before entering prison... When he got out, they hired him back and latered promoted him over the black guy with the clean record that was working almost ten years earlier before the white guy's first tour. Go figure... Federal gov't in the late 1980's and early 1990's.

Really? I guess the only way to appease you is to rely more on what Bill Nye has to say. Or maybe an episode of South Park. Or an SNL skit.
