Saudi Arabia Rob Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Gosh, talk about having a brain fart....rookie mistake there.
billnutinphoenix Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 other game news, tampa up 17-10 and no matt ryan...tampa could snag a win and get closer to us good news...
thewildrabbit Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 man I want to see a 3-4 next year... Or some players that actually work in the Tampa 2
DrFishfinder Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Man....these clock eating drives are murder.
DC Tom Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 C'mon, Byrd. You need to be more aware on that. In Byrd's defense...had he tackled the receiver as he was getting up, he was running a risk of an unnecessary roughness penalty.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Gosh, talk about having a brain fart....rookie mistake there. I love Byrd but that was reminiscent of his standing around admiring the view on Leodis McKelvin's epic kickoff return fumble.
DrFishfinder Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 In Byrd's defense...had he tackled the receiver as he was getting up, he was running a risk of an unnecessary roughness penalty. Yep...that was a damned if you do and damned if you don't scenario.
Saudi Arabia Rob Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Man, let's hope the O can sustain some type of a drive.....Miami had a NINE minute drive to open the half. Wearing down the defense early in the half.
CosmicBills Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Poz is getting abused today. Normally he's average. But today he's been well below average. It's painful to watch.
Gareson Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Contrary to popular opinion, I am doubting if Fewell has the team playing with heart after that last Miami drive.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 In Byrd's defense...had he tackled the receiver as he was getting up, he was running a risk of an unnecessary roughness penalty. I'll disagree with you, Tom. The one possible defense of Byrd I would accept is that he's played college ball the last four years where once a player hits the ground, he's down.
DrFishfinder Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Man, let's hope the O can sustain some type of a drive.....Miami had a NINE minute drive to open the half. Wearing down the defense early in the half. That's a huge problem for the Bills. I hope they can address that next year. We need a D that can force more 3 and outs.
billnutinphoenix Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Or some players that actually work in the Tampa 2 Tommy Harris may be available next year....I just don't want it...doesn't work here...just like West Coast Offense doesn't work here...
Alaska_Darin_Is_Gay Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 And here comes the swoon...........
thewildrabbit Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Man....these clock eating drives are murder. It's what Parcells is noted for... They are getting it done with Chad Henne, a decent O line, decent defense and run the ball to wear out the opposing defense.
BRH Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 In Byrd's defense...had he tackled the receiver as he was getting up, he was running a risk of an unnecessary roughness penalty. Which would have put the ball half the distance to the goal instead of on the one. And it would have made Hartline think twice about getting up next time. I vote tackle him.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 Poz is getting abused today. Normally he's average. But today he's been well below average. It's painful to watch. Well your credibility seems to drop with each post. So, Stroud, Kyle Williams, Kelsay, Schobel, et al are doing a great job but Poz is the one screwing up? Our whole defense is getting blown off the ball. Ask Ray Lewis what happened after Tony Siragusa and Sam Adams left Baltimore.
