John Cocktosten
Wow, that is some tough competition. Besides the obvious, John Randle was dominant. My college coach used to make us watch film of him practicing! He was as intense in practice as he was on Sundays. Kevin Greene was great too. I used to love Charles Haley until I read what he used to do during film sessions! http://www.yardbarker.com/author/article_external/334364

murra
So they're trying to say that 6 players drafted each year are hall of famers? Is that right? Can't we make the hall something a little more prestigious? I say, one member gets picked every other year. Then it will be a truly elite class, with no debates. This year, Jerry Rice gets in, no debate. Wait two years, Emmit Smith gets in, no debate. And so on. Above average players, or players who made the pro bowl a couple times don't deserve to clog up a hall of fame.
billsfreak
unless they make the 2010 class, the year of the wide receiver, Reed wont be getting in. and lets face it tasker wont ever get in. if ray guy wont, tasker wont either. I say Carter, Rice, Emmit, Brown, and Dawson Reed will get in but there seems to be a backlog at WR and from seeing interviews before with voters, they don't like to put alot of players in from the same team or the same position (whatever sense that makes). He will get in eventually but it is probably going to take another year or two. This year I think we won't need to plan a trip to Canton.
Dan
FWIW, when asked who should make it out of Brown, Carter, and Reed; Rod Woodson picked Reed. Also, said Tasker, although great, doesn't deserve to get in with so many other deserving, full time players still to get in.
lets_go_bills
Reed should be in and he will get in eventually. As for Tasker, we Bills fans are biased, but if you actually saw the way he impacted games, he has to get in.

I agree, they might have to put a Pope like glass wall in front of the state during the enshrinement. The worst part of it all is, he probably deserves to be put in. The city of Cleveland really crapped on him. Gave the NBA, MLB and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame new buildings, and he was in a crumbling rat infested shithole. It was sad, but I could understand why he moved, he really didn't want to but didn't have a choice.
