Wow, that is some tough competition. Besides the obvious, John Randle was dominant. My college coach used to make us watch film of him practicing! He was as intense in practice as he was on Sundays. Kevin Greene was great too. I used to love Charles Haley until I read what he used to do during film sessions!

If I had to hand pick 6, I'd go with these guys: Though arguments can be made for several others.

Coryell, Craig, Haley and Guy should already be in the HOF, so that's why I picked those guys!

Hate picking 4 offensive players and only 1 defensive but...

Carter will get in before Reed, and I don't see them picking another WR this year in addition to Rice.

So they're trying to say that 6 players drafted each year are hall of famers? Is that right? Can't we make the hall something a little more prestigious? I say, one member gets picked every other year. Then it will be a truly elite class, with no debates. This year, Jerry Rice gets in, no debate. Wait two years, Emmit Smith gets in, no debate. And so on. Above average players, or players who made the pro bowl a couple times don't deserve to clog up a hall of fame.

Reed will get in but there seems to be a backlog at WR and from seeing interviews before with voters, they don't like to put alot of players in from the same team or the same position (whatever sense that makes). He will get in eventually but it is probably going to take another year or two. This year I think we won't need to plan a trip to Canton.

Just imagine Canton, Ohio if Art Modell goes in...Riots!

I agree, they might have to put a Pope like glass wall in front of the state during the enshrinement. The worst part of it all is, he probably deserves to be put in. The city of Cleveland really crapped on him. Gave the NBA, MLB and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame new buildings, and he was in a crumbling rat infested shithole. It was sad, but I could understand why he moved, he really didn't want to but didn't have a choice.

Art Modell does not deserve to be in the hall of fame...I'm not a cleveland fan, but I would boo whoever was there singing his praises
