goatman Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 yup...and they averaged over 20 points a game offense.
Movinon Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 I know Drew was young kid then, and they had the Tuna as a coach, but I'd thought I would try to bring a little bit of optimism - if thats allowed. Are you out of your freaking mind? This post is inflammatory and serves only to rehash what we all know – Bledsoe is washed up; we are not going anywhere with him leading this team and finally it’s time to start the JP era.
B-lo Snow Posted November 18, 2004 Author Posted November 18, 2004 I agree with you all, I was just throwing it out there. (I dont agree with me being out of my mind though) I can wish for a 7 game winning streak cant I?
dib Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 I can wish for a 7 game winning streak cant I? 122986[/snapback] Sure, if you're going to wish-wish big. Remember though the longest winning streak the Bills have been able to muster is.......2.

MUAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAH Harry: My parakeet Petey, he's dead. Lloyd: Oh I'm sorry. What happened? Harry: His head fell off!
Rico Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 If the Red Sox can win a World Series, the Bills can win the next 7 games. Other than the Seahawks & Squeelers, the schedule doesn't look too bad.... Put Matthews/JP in there & let's see what happens, one game at a time.

gantrules Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 If the Red Sox can win a World Series, the Bills can win the next 7 games. ---------------- Comparing the Red Sox to the Bills is foolish. The Red Sox were a proven team of excellent players fighting for their lives in the playoffs. The Bills are a proven team of foolish players with no leadership trying to get back to .500. And there is already four 6-3 teams in the AFC. Even if we go 10-6 we will not make the playoffs. I can't believe we are talking about the playoffs. Everyone is aware that the Cardinals have a better record than us right?

BRH Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 I remember that second-to-last game of the regular season. It was the first time in ages I had ever seen the Bills absolutely quit in a game. Little did I know I was going to have to get used to seeing that.
ATBNG Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 That Pats’ team was kind of fun. They didn’t have anyone who could run the ball. Down 20-0 to Minnesota, Parcells made the decision to go to a 90/10 pass run ratio. That was the first team in NFL history to have five guys with over 50 catches (Timpson, Brisby, Thompson, Coates, Turner). I would guess that that seven game win streak at the end of the season would constitute the most pass attempts ever for a QB in a seven game stretch in NFL history. Unfortunately, this might be the year that a 10-6 team does not make the playoffs in the AFC. Even with seven in a row, the 6 AFC losses combined with the losses to the Ravens and Jaguars might have already sealed it for 2004.

I think every time we play NE on the road OR a prime time game on the road, we get mauled.
DeeRay Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Dude? WTF? Do think we're all stupid here? Optimism? How about reality? I like that better. Give it up... the tooth ferry doesn't exist, the earth is round, Jimmy Hoffa is dead, and Drew Bledsoe is not going to lead this team anywhere but to the bottom of the barrel.
Ray Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 Well the Sox won the World Series this year so I guess anything is possible.
Corp000085 Posted November 18, 2004 Posted November 18, 2004 I don't see the bills winning 7 games and having others choke so they make a wildcard. I do see them possibly winning 4 of 6 and maybe their last 3 games to carry jp into next season. That's reason for optimism alone!
