BuffaloBill
My guess is that he is in a lot of pain, swelling can be an issue with air travel anyway and they probably want to be absolutely sure there is not infection in the leg. I hope he fully recovers and is able to play again if he wants to. His grittiness and demeanor is to be admired.
bills_fan
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/1257691...nville-hospital sorry if already posted Hey jw, nice write up. One question....has it been definatively confirmed that Wood had a "compound fracture," as that term is defined medically? I know he broke both the tib and fib, but did not know if the bone broke the skin. http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=8083 Sorry for being graphic. Conch
I knew a guy with a broken leg named Smith. He named his other leg Jones.
THE GASH STATION
Get well Eric.. Love having this guy on our team. Based on the toughness he has showed so far I bet nothing will keep this Kid from coming back like a mad dog in a meathouse. (Ya, I stole that from Spikes). MattM
My wife and I got to meet him at the Bills Backers event in June and he did indeed seem like a very nice, down to earth guy, just happy to be playing in the NFL, so seeing what happened Sunday was quite depressing. Really, really hope he can come back from this and wish him all the best on his speedy recovery.
