It gets really tired hearing about how "noone" wants to come here, like we are some outpost of football that has sucked for the last 20 years. I understand the team hasn't done much over the last decade, but there are far worse teams with less talent than the Bills have. The Bills are not so much a "bad" team as they are a mediocre one. A quality coach would have to look at this situation more favorably than say Oakland, Cleveland, Kansas City, Detroit, or St. Louis. Those are bad football teams with little to no talent. Yes, Cleveland beat us, but does anyone think they have more talent on the team? When your best player is your kick returner, that is a serious problem.

The bottom line is that the Bills are competitive and in position to win most of their games going into the 4th quarter. Its not like they get blown out very often. A good coach would have to think with some adjustments and tweaks here and there(a few free agents next year, etc), he could add about 4 more wins---basically take the Bills from 7-9 to 11-5. Jauron easily cost us 3 or 4 games a year if not more with some of his boneheaded decisions. If you put the shoe on the other foot and have a coach here that can win us 3 or 4 games by making good decisions, it is not far fetched to see the Bills as close to making the playoffs.

A new coach is not going to start from zero like they would in Detroit or Cleveland. We have some talented players here--- Williams, Byrd, Evans, Jackson, Wood, Levitre, Stroud, Nelson, Schobel, McGee, McKelvin, some might even say Poz in a better scheme for him. They would basically need to find a QB and a few pieces on both sides of the ball. We are not in cap hell like a lot of teams are, we have plenty of money to spend on players, and fans adore this team and will support them 100% even in bad times.

I understand all the negatives, but let's not act like there are zero positives to the Bills job---they have quite a few...
