zazie
I'd rather take a flier on Perry than bring in a known quantity, if the part we know is that he is not a winner. Why does this name keep coming up??? LINK: http://bleacherreport.com/tb/b1Gqa F!

In space no one can hear
Another say no to Haslett? I don't care how much they clutter up the board I agree. Haslett is crapola.

fan_in_tx
Would Rather have Marty... Has won in the cold in both in Cleveland and KC. and in the warm in SD... Who cares if he has never won the big one... I want someone who I know will give us an extra game or 2 in December and Jan. Let's get there first then we can talk about the big dance. zazie
Pats fans might've said the same thing about Belicheat. Or Bills fans, about DJ.... Haslett has had a couple of chances already and not come through, do we really need another 3-4 years with a loser.
Omar Little
Haslett is probably dead last on my list. I want absolutely nothing to do with him.

BADOLBILZ
Pats fans might've said the same thing about Belicheat. I'm sure you jest, but for the sake of future confusion, let's put the "Belichick was a loser" storyline to bed. He was a retread, but his resume outside of Cleveland was long and great. The guy was a two-time SB champion coordinator. He was inarguably the most revered defensive mind of the time and he was the right hand man for Bills Parcells, a proven winner and quick turnaround specialist. There is NO COMPARISON between Belichick and a guy like Jim Haslett. The strongest thread to success he has is that he was the DC for a short time in Pittsburgh under Cowher. It could be argued that he just followed in the steps of LeBeau and Capers before him in Pittsburgh and rode on their coattails. Otherwise, he's been a disappointment at all stops since. Dick Jauron fell in the same category. Brief and limited success as a coordinator under Coughlin in Jacksonville. Otherwise not much.
mob16151
I wouldn't be against Haslett as DC. But no way do I want him as HC. (But if the Bills hired him as HC I'd probably find a way to talk myself into liking it)

My guess is that Haslett's agent is working the phones with every number in is Rolodex (OK I know I'm dating myself by using Rolodex). But Haslett's agent has a real good incentive to get Haslett a job, it's called money.

dajari9
He was Coach of the Year, once. How can that POSSIBLY blow up in our face? Nice line. I wouldn't mind him so much if they first revamped the whole FO and got a strong, proven GM to head the football side of things, let Brandon stay on the business side of things. Polian built the Bills teams of the 90s, not Levy.
