stuckincincy Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 link Any idea as to the nature of the injury?
H2o Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 God help whoever is facing the FF team with MJD starting at RB in their respective leagues because he just may put up 40 points by himself.
buffaloboyinATL Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Holy crap! Maurice Jones-Drew is going to rush for 500 yards. I was nervous about facing him with a healthy defensive front but without Williams and Stroud this will be ugly.
zow2 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Seems like whenever we have guys hurt, they are declared OUT. there's never any good news with Buffalo injuries. Either they are healthy or they are inactive. it's just nuts.

Well - there's a bit of solace...JAX doesn't fling many passes his way. TEN's Chris Johnson catching 9 of 9 tossed to him last week was shocking. Fewell et al have something to answer for, for their failure to shadow and contain that 2-5 team's major threat, IMO.

I hope you're right, however: Chris Johnson 30 catches for 262 yards (9 for 100 vs. the Bills) MJD 32 catches for 220 yards and he hasn't faced us yet. He should be over 40 catches by Sunday evening. I hope I'm wrong.
PDaDdy Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Funny thing to note. Jason Peters has more starts than: Paul Posluzny Marcus Stroud Donte Whitner Terrance Mcgee Kyle Williams Derick Shouman Derick Fine Brad Butler Kawika Mitchell Bell Oh wait...I forgot....Peters is a lazy fat slob who has lost his desire to play and is injured all the time.......HRM....what does that say of some of our current Bills?

Sometimes you have to key on an exceptional player, and trust that you don't get bit elsewhere. Obivously, they didn't get that done last week, sadly. Fewell should take a tip from the normally-podunk B'gal, re keying on the chief danger. I do give the CIN staff credit for naming two players in their division as Public Enemy #1: BAL's Lewis and PGH's Polamalu. They go well out of their way to whack 'em through the years. Both are easy targets - since the both are so much of the action. If you don't neutralize them, you won't have a chance. The hard hits by them, and CIN players against them are memorable. Ray Lewis - there was a thread or comments about him last week here, with some implying he's a spent force. Bunk. 14 years in the league IIRC. He still brings it. Speaking of BAL - I've a feeling that S Ed Reed is winding down. Regrettable if that's so - what a remarkable player.
PDaDdy Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Who F'en cares how many starts Peters has...he's not on the Bills. Was just stirring the pot a bit taking a jab at the camp that believes we dodged a bullet because Peters got hurt and missed a few games for Philly. Illustrates the point that injuries do not a bad unmotivated player make.
John Adams Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Hurt guys are not eager to play for a sinking team. What a shock. I'm sure if the Bills were in a playoff race, the IR would not be so full. Losses are good at this point. Top 4 pick please.

Chandler#81 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Any idea as to the nature of the injury? Knee, per BB.com -though the article has since been taken down..
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 #4... Mike Williams part deux? Sorry! I hate you. WORST. DRAFT PICK. EVER.
Fewell733 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 well at least it seems like Kyle Williams will be back.
Steely Dan Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 #4... Mike Williams part deux? Sorry! WHY?? WHY??? WHY???? DID YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT. I'M BARFING ON THE KEYBOARD NOW!!!!!!!!
Steely Dan Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Seriously, I see MJD having over 300 combined yards.
