Jerry Jabber
Dick: "Hello" Turk: "Hey Dickie Boy, how's it's goin'? I wanted to ask you...how did that "pop-warner" offense work out for ya? HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!" In all seriousness, I'm sure Turk had a big grin on his face when he heard the news about Jauron getting the boot.
Sisyphean Bills
It might be more appropriate to smile at all those that believed Turk was the only problem with the offense.
Jerry Jabber
I agree. Our offense hasn't been good since Mularkey left town. Granted MM sucked as a head coach, but I miss his offensive creativity. I work with 2 Steelers fans and they both say that the last best OC the Steelers had was MM. Like the play he had Roscoe Parrish line up under center (with a cast on his wrist I might add) and throw a wounded duck to JP Losman in the flat for 2 yards. Brilliant! Brilliant! Yes, that play was boneheaded, but then again, I also remember when Bledsoe went in on a QB sneak, then threw the ball back to Trash (McGahee) and Trash ran 33 yards for a TD. I miss that type of creativity. MM was the only one who knew how to use Evans and get him open. He had Evans lined up all over the field and was able to get him the ball. Since then, Evans has been lined up always on the outside.
