Mr. WEO Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 It's based on Singletary being one of the all-time biggest badasses in the NFL and Perry Fewell being a guy that get's called "Fewell Perry" in an article kicking off potentially one of the most important moments in his coaching career. Awesome post! Firing DJ now is another useless/meaningless move by the FO.
Greybeard Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Get Harbaugh from Stanford ! http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ....html?eref=sihp I understand he and Jim Kelly work really well together.
truth on hold Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 GOOD RIDDANCE BUNG HOLE. I DONT FEEL AN OUNCE OF PITY FOR THAT LOSER. HE WAS TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. HE MADE GUYS LOOK BAD. HE GOT GUYS HURT. HE HAS A HORRIBLE RECORD. ALL THIS WHILE MAKING HIMSELF A FORTUNE.
Dan Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 About time! Jauron's a goog guy and its always bad to have to fire someone, but this really did need to happen. Here's a thought about the timing: Given Bud Adams' display at the end of the Titans game, does anyone think that maybe 2 old school owners had something more riding on that game? And losing to Bud Adams was enough to finally push Ralph over the edge? Because, lets face it, as bad as they looked, it really wasn't any worsre than they've looked several times already this season?

BB2004 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 im watching top 10 draft busts it says Jauron has been fired. I wouldn't have guessed that it would have happened now, I thought for sure after the season. Anyway, who said things were not interesting around here?
Orton's Arm Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 You know DJ is a nice man I bet he really is, and you know he probably can be a solid DB coach for someone Right. Because DBs playing 20 yards off the ball is a sign of superior coaching!
justnzane Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Right. Because DBs playing 20 yards off the ball is a sign of superior coaching! Speaking of Holcombs_Arm and Dick. Dick was coach for 3.5 years
Boom Jam Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Good Riddance! http://buffalofail.wordpress.com/2009/11/17/coach-fail/ Very thought provoking...
PromoTheRobot Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I wonder how much of Jauron's contract Ralph is paying? $6M+ is not a bad severence. Fire me like that. And congrats to limp Dick for being the first HC fired. Thought Jim Zorn was going to beat him to it. PTR

DC Tom Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Man I cant wait to see FORMER Coach Jauron in a Coors beer commerical Doucehbags: "Coach Jauron! We've got a cooler full of cold Coors Light up here! You want one?" Jauron: Douchebags: "Coach? You awake, coach?" Jauron: Douchebags: "Coach? You want to settle for a bottle of lukewarm piss instead?" Jauron: <golf clap>
Ramius Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Anybody hear from C.Biscuit? Probably should put the kid on suicide watch. He's most likely in some corner weeping, "but...but...but...jauron has the same record as belichick/fisher/(whatever other coach he pulls from his ass)."

Búfalo Blanco Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 That was only 9 games too late. 9 games, a training camp, and an offseason too late... Adams bird flipping antics have backfired as Ralph is now angry and will go hard after Fisher. The firing is letting Adams know who is boss. This should have happened a long time ago... I'm happy it finally did happen, but skeptical of what happens between now and next season... It would be nice to see them sign one of the many experienced, successful FA HCs out there, but I know how much Ralphie just loves those cheap assistants looking for their first shot... That might be fine too if the organization could actually choose the right one... Based on the track record, I'll remain skeptical...
Steely Dan Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 What is Brandon doing well? Do you not think he had any say in the Left tackle debacle? How about his inability to get any linebackers in here? His decision to bring in TO? What exactly is he doing right? Newsflash Aprils special teams SUCK this year, are directly responsible for 2 losses. Hes overated. Unless someone in the building is doing a phenominal job they all need to go, we need sweeping changes, personel changes, and cultural changes The LT thing is sort of a good point, but losing JP is a better thing than not getting Eric Wood and Shawn Nelson. He traded for Stroud, signed Owens, and managed to get a draft pick for Ko Simpson when many people thought he'd be cut anyway. He had a good draft this year and the talent is there IMO, except at a couple of places. Every team has a couple of weak spots though. As for April you're foolish to think that a guy who's had the #1 ST unit in three of the past five years should be fired. This is just pure idiocy. You're really going to blame April for 2 fumbles? Is he really supposed to grab his NFL players and tell them "don't fumble the !@#$ing football"? A coach can only put his players in a position to succeed, he can't keep them from making idiotic mistakes. That said, I don't want April as head coach. GIVE ME SOME TONY DUNGY! What he said. Man I cant wait to see FORMER Coach Jauron in a Coors beer commerical Doucehbags: "Coach Jauron! We've got a cooler full of cold Coors Light up here! You want one?"Jauron: Douchebags: "Coach?
