ExiledInIllinois Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Good... I am going to JAX... It will make the trip that much more enjoyable!
Chandler#81 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I'm retired. No excuse! So was Marv. I feel like yelling at the top of my lungs!! You know, like it was when we had soemthing to cheer about!
Cornerville Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 its about time........I have to admit, I actually feel bad for DJ....I don't know why but I do....obviously he should be fired but...IDK You know DJ is a nice man I bet he really is, and you know he probably can be a solid DB coach for someone
BillsFanNC Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 It's pretty clear Jauron wasn't going to get to 7-9 again. It had to be done.
Red Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW HEW!!!!!! Can it be?!?!?!?? Hopefully, an announcement will be made that Modrak and Guy will be next (fingers crossed)
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 its about time........I have to admit, I actually feel bad for DJ....I don't know why but I do....obviously he should be fired but...IDK Just like JP Losman, Dick got MUCH more rope here than ANY OTHER NFL team would have given him. Don't feel bad for the guy, he sucked at his job.
ezbills Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I am sooooo happy right now. The Bills still have a long way to go, but for Ralph to admit there is a problem and take action like this is a big step in the right direction. Of course Gruden would be awesome, but there are several guys out there with coaching experience and past success that would get this team moving in the right direction.
Kiwi Bills fan Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 FINALLY!! All the best to you, Dick.
evilcape Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 nah nah nah nah! nah nah nah nah! hey hey hey! goodbye! now dick can go back to his dwelling and plot how to finaly take down He-Man and the Castle of Grayskull!
Buftex Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Just like JP Losman, Dick got MUCH more rope here than ANY OTHER NFL team would have given him. Don't feel bad for the guy, he sucked at his job. Right! There are some of us who are unemployed with little money... DJ should be set for life!
dave mcbride Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Just like JP Losman, Dick got MUCH more rope here than ANY OTHER NFL team would have given him. Don't feel bad for the guy, he sucked at his job. He's also going to receive millions over the remainder of the contract.
zdro22 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 HOORAY!!!! What's your reasoning behind firing a guy who seems to be doing very good as GM and firing the best ST coach in the league? What is Brandon doing well? Do you not think he had any say in the Left tackle debacle? How about his inability to get any linebackers in here? His decision to bring in TO? What exactly is he doing right? Newsflash Aprils special teams SUCK this year, are directly responsible for 2 losses. Hes overated. Unless someone in the building is doing a phenominal job they all need to go, we need sweeping changes, personel changes, and cultural changes
Poeticlaw Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 FINALLY!! All the best to you, Dick. Exactly, We can finally rejoice this team and its bright future with out DJ hurting the teams chances.
meazza Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Will this change anything? Probably going to want the next coach fired as well in about 2-3 years
RayFinkle Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Tim Graham weighs in on the firing. I like the opening... The Buffalo Bills finally have fired Dick Jauron.
NyQuil Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I wonder if this had anything to do with the Bills ticket office calling me at 1:30 asking if I was happy with my season tickets.
Mike in Syracuse Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 What is Brandon doing well? Do you not think he had any say in the Left tackle debacle? How about his inability to get any linebackers in here? His decision to bring in TO? What exactly is he doing right? Newsflash Aprils special teams SUCK this year, are directly responsible for 2 losses. Hes overated. Unless someone in the building is doing a phenominal job they all need to go, we need sweeping changes, personel changes, and cultural changes This is just pure idiocy. You're really going to blame April for 2 fumbles? Is he really supposed to grab his NFL players and tell them "don't fumble the !@#$ing football"? A coach can only put his players in a position to succeed, he can't keep them from making idiotic mistakes. That said, I don't want April as head coach. GIVE ME SOME TONY DUNGY!
seq004 Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 im watching top 10 draft busts it says Jauron has been fired. Just got the text.
Las Vegas Calling... Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Better late than never. Ralph now needs a top tier head coach (yes Ralph, you need to spend top tier $ for a coach) and that individual needs to be able to control drafting and personel decisions.
