Fan in San Diego Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 How can you sit there and stomach this crap of a football team. Get on the phone and fire the staff and get some replacements in here. If you havn't the balls to do it then sell the team to someone who does! This large smelly pile of dung is your fault and rests at your feet. Fix it now! Totally disgusted.

billsrcursed Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 This really needed its own thread??? You could have posted this in any other thread on the board and it would have fit... just sayin.

Yeah it would have fit and should go onto every rant that calls for the rearranging of the deck chairs that canning Jauron or cutting TO immediately would be. However, this type of sentiment ALSO deserves its own thread as it is really the key to understanding the 0 for the decade record and how to actually rebuild this team. If the owner will not man up and change his ways (a difficult thing to do at any time but particularly at 90+ when you have proven the ability to make big bucks in other industries). You cannot fire the owner in this economic system, and many of us appreciate Mr. Ralph for the outstanding thing he did in keeping the team here when he could have made bigger bucks elsewhere. Many of us not only feel some good about the old guy but also live in fear of the day he leaves this life. But assuming (and hoping the Bills remain- a not likely but only logical assumption for this fan) the Bills remain we need the owner to make a change in his style and bring a Polian type here and not fire him.

Sure, why not? Maybe if enough people posted this thread...Maybe someone in the organization might take notice of how fed up we all really are with this crap product. Maybe someone still cares at One Bills Drive
thewildrabbit Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 I suppose we can vent all we want at Ralph Wilson and he doesn't care. As long as the stadium is filled every home game and fans keep buying merchandise he will keep smiling.

bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 ralph has no idea what you're talking about. Russ and ralph Conversation Ralph : " Russ whats going on I hired a quality head coach with a winning record has Chuck lost it? " Russ : " Chuck?" Ralph : " Russ whats the matter with you cant you remeber Knoxs name" Russ " " Um Ralph Knox coached in 1980 and left the team" Ralph: " Oh yeah well is Levy no longer got it he is getting old" Russ : " Ralph Marv retired in the 1990's " Ralph : " Well ole whats his name at least his contract is over this year" Russ : " Ralph we reupped him last year for 3 more years" Ralph : " I owe this current coach 2 more years of pay ?" Russ : " Yes sir" Ralph : " Lets get Vick that will fill the seats"
Doc Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Again, firing the coaching staff mid-season would be at-best pointless, and at-worst stupid. That's because the guy you'd elevate to HC (because he's done a good job at his coaching position) would likely be gone in the regime change next year. IOW, you say, elevate Bobby April or Bob Sanders to interim HC (and neither is HC'ing material), a new coaching regime comes in next year, and tells them to go back to their previous position? Not likely. And what good does it do making the change? Everyone knows Jauron is a dead man walking.

The upside is that we get a jump on hiring a GM, HC, Personel, Scouting, Strength & Conditioning, WR Coach, RB Coach, QB coach, OC, DC, OL coach DL Coach, LB coach and can start the interview process. Hell concede all of the games, we are going to lose anyways. Why risk injury.

Fan in San Diego Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Sell the team?? It would surely then be moved out of Buffalo I really doubt that. We sell out tickets. Have the Rochester to Toronto market. Other teams will move to LA like J'Ville.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 Ralph ain't long for this world, just sayin'. Then change will happen, whether anyone likes it or not.

And just because Jauron is still coaching, it doesn't mean the Bills can't make overtures to people.
