How come ..AVP's plays fit on a 5 by 7 card

Jauron is the architect of the offense, despite whoever is playing the role of OC. He's been through 5 OC's in this is ninth NFL season as a HC and never developed an offense capable of scoring above the NFL average.

All the more reason DJ should never have anything to do with offense again.

Jauron got his Mickey Mouse- Pop Warner offense that he wanted.

The trouble is the other team knows all of our 6 plays and they cover them easily.

Why don't :( they bring in someone to help AVP plan some different plays?

In defense of AVP, gettting the job 4 days prior to the season opener is an impossible situation. He is stuck with Shoenert's offense and a rookie line for most parts. I hope AVP is successful after this and would go "all in" betting that when he gets is next OC position his offense will look a lot different than this trainwreck.

As simple as the game plan is, this current Bills offensive line can't protect the QB. Protections stink, the Bills were forced to move a guard to a tackle position because of injuries.

This offense can all be put on Jauron's shoulders, he knew how horrid Turk Schonert was and he kept him after last season. So then he promotes someone under Schonert two weeks before the season starts, this guy is so afraid to hire someone decent to coach the offense because they will take his job.

I disagree with your reasoning for why Jauron doesn't hire a proven OC. It is not fear of his job. Rather, Jauron's biggest strength/ weakness is his loyalty. That's why players like him. He wants to give his assistants a shot at the job. However given how easy going Jauron is, it seems like he very easily could get a proven OC to coach under him (Linehan, Cameron). Unfortunately for him, this loyalty to unproven guys will cost him his job.

The KGun fit on a postage stamp ... otherwise Jim Kelly's brain couldn't have memorized and still had room to process the calls at the line ...

The number of plays is not in direct proportion to the success of the offense.
