Guest dog14787 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Hate to burst anyone's bubble on getting "Chucky" for a new coach, but John Gruden just signed a multi year deal to stay with ESPN and Monday Night Football. Link below: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4659441 He probably has a clause allowing him to coach if an opportunity should present itself, yepper kiper, I agree.
BADOLBILZ Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id...s-deal-with-mnf Per Pat Yasinskas: "Working with Mike (Tirico), Jaws (Ron Jaworski) and our entire Monday Night Football team is the most fun I have had in years, and I am fired up to make this long-term commitment to ESPN," said Gruden. “Monday Night Football is special and I look forward to remaining a part of it and continuing to call these great games.” So much for that particular Plan B. Dammit, I liked the thought of Chucky on the Bills sideline, too. EA Sports presents Gruden NFL Football 2011. Wouldn't surprise me if he is looking to further fill the big man's shoes....and his earnings.
